Hi, so I often get asked how am I finding good ideas for stock investments. Well, if you want to find your own stock ideas like Warren Buffett, Peter Lynch, or any successful investor, you have to know how to search.
What I am going to show you today is the Finviz stock screener that I use which will help you search for an investment. You can copy it and do it yourself.

Now before I jump into the tutorial, there are going to be a lot of financial terms that I’ll use today. Things like, P/E ratio, Price to book, current ratio, debt to equity,
If you are not familiar with these terms I suggest taking a step back, and reading up on value investing.

A great place to start is reading blogs about Warren Buffett investing, Peter Lynch investing and reading a few books to see if stock selection is something you are interested in.
