🇸🇷 Food & The Single Guy - S.10.01 - Javaanse Bami Sambal (Javanese Hot Sauce)

On this episode: I am making a favorite from the homeland yet again! This hot sauce from the Javanese cuisine is a very spicy and sweet addition to your Javanese noodles or Javanese fried rice! Ingredients:
- 250 grams of red Habanero peppers
- 2 large tomatoes (finely chopped)
- half an onion (finely chopped)
- 3-4 large cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp. of salt
- 3 tsp. of chicken powder
- 2 tsp. of brown sugar
- 2 tbs. of Gula Jawa (Indonesian palm sugar)
- sunflower oil
- 3 Indonesian bay leaves (Daun Salam)
- galangal root
- shrimp paste (Trassie)
