Missing HIKER in Mesa Verde National Park

► On the 29th of June 2013, a Texan man by the name of Mitchell Dale Stehling vanished without a trace after wandering off from his family in the wilderness of Colorado’s Mesa Verde National Park. This place, situated in southwestern US has a whole unusual and rich history in and of itself. Inside the Mesa Verde National park, you can find the remnants of a long since passed peoples. Their presence is known today because they left behind over five thousand ancient landmarks, including six hundred cave dwellings, numerous watchtowers and petroglyphs among other types of buildings or now ruins I suppose, including the sunken ceremonial sites known as kivas. This is interesting in and of itself because I’m not sure that we know the exact reason that the people back then abandoned this site.

In any case, Dale who was 51-years-old at the time of his disappearance, was travelling with his wife and parents from Texas through Colorado and stopped unexpectedly at the park before disappearing...
