К к - like the "k" in "kitten” or the “c” in “crocodile”

М м - like the "m" in “milk”

O o - like the "o" in "bored"
(never as the English diphthong “ou”)

Т т - like the "t" in "talk”
(Though the hand-written capital letter looks rather similar to the letter "м")

LOOK LIKE English letters
BUT SOUND DIFFERENT:
В в - like the "v" in "vine”

Е е - like the "ye" in “yet” or like the “e” in “exit”

Н н - like the "n" in "note”

Р р - like the "r" in "rum“, but it is rolled

С с - like the "s" in "salt”

У у - like the "oo" in "root".

Х х - like the "h" in "ham”

Russian letters that LOOK UNUSUAL, but HAVE FAMILIAR SOUNDS:
Б б - like the "b" in "bottle”

Г г - like the "g" in "go”

Д д - like the "d" in "damn"

З з - like the "z" in "zoo"

И и - like the “ee” in “meet”

Л л - like the "l" in "little”

П п - like the "p" in "prank”

Ю ю - like the word "you"

Я я - like the "ya" in "yard"

Ё ё - like the ”yo" in "your”

Ж ж - Like the ”s” in "pleasure"

Ц ц - Similar to the "ts" sound in “hits” or "eats”

Ч ч - like the "ch" in "chat”

Ш ш - like the "sh" in “short”

Щ щ - Hell difficult to pronounce, guys..=)) Just say the “sh” and “ch” sounds together (one after another)
Something like sh_ch in fresh_cheese

Ы ы - like the "i" in “ill” or like English schwa sound “Ə” in problEm, parrOt

Й й - like the "y" sound in "boy" or like the "gh" in “sigh".
(used just to form diphthongs)

Pronunciation Symbols
(They have no sound by themselves, but are still considered letters)
Ъ ъ - The 'Hard Sign'
Depicts a slight pause between syllables

Ь ь - The 'Soft Sign'
Makes the previous letter 'soft'

GOOD LUCKI believe in you!***
