Millions of Americans are bidding on houses to win in this housing market crisis. Many home buyers have motives due to low interest rates and wanting to lock it in. The issue is, many home buyers are not realizing they are hurting themselves more then benefitting. They are choosing to over pay for the house just because of the lower mortgage interest rates defeating the purpose of the low rates!

The housing market crisis has been on fire due to this reason and several others as well. Home buyers are getting so caught up with the low interest rates and forgetting the rest. To top it off, mortgage interest rates just fell down to 2.78%!

To be honest, as an investor and home buyer that is definitely motivating! However, it is not motivating enough to buy a bad deal just to get that good rate. You don't want to get something but lose something. The purpose is to secure a low rate with still a good priced purchase.

The housing market has been on fire for the last year due to many reasons. One of them being corporations buying houses and competing directly with investors and home buyers.
