How we heat a tiny home on just 2 cubic feet of wood!

Over the past 3 weeks, we have had more friends in our community ask us how we are heating our tiny home than any other question. Wood, gas, propane... What do we do?

We installed a Cubic Mini "Grizzly" tiny home and we use that solely to heat our tiny home. This tiny stove is a true powerhouse! We cut hardwood earlier in the year and have let it cure, we spend a day a week thereabout cutting that wood into chunks and sizes that will fit into the cubic mini stove when we are ready, we create some feathersticks, get a small fire started, add in our kindling and let this stove run throughout the night.

We installed 2 carbon monoxide alarms, one with a digital display to see the parts per million of carbon monoxide in the home and we read 0! Zero! Zilch! This little stove is so efficient and we couldn't be more happy with it.
