We conquered The Fan Dance, June 2017

We came, we saw, we conquered, we got badly sun burnt!

This is my video blog of the day we took part, the heat was relentless but it didn't stop us from succeeding.

Women and Men of different builds, abilities and ages (around 25 years old up to about 60 took part (estimated)) which was inspiring to see.

50% of SAS recruits fail to complete the Fan Dance and therefore fail to become part of the world renowned SAS.

The Fan Dance is one of the toughest endurance events in the UK if not the toughest, being prepared for it is key to not only getting over the finish line but actually enjoying the experience too.

I hope you've all enjoyed the video blog of my training and the day itself, I hope you sign up and start training for it because it will give you a HUGE sense of achievement to complete the notorious Fan Dance and on a clear, sunny day there's nowhere on earth that can compare to the beautiful Brecon Beacons.
