Need some help getting grass to look realistic - or working out how to blend colours smoothly on close-up leaves or stalks?

Materials used:
Derivan student acrylic: white, red (cool), yellow (warm), phthalo blue
Da Vinci Hobby brush flat size 50 and 20
Bristle brush 4cm with frayed end
