Here's an unedited 51 minute recording of WNBC daytime, December 13, 1979 (41 years ago) in the days when game shows were a big part of daytime television. We get the end credits for a Chuck Woolery "Wheel of Fortune" (many of those episodes were destroyed by Merv Griffin) followed by one of just two known extant episodes of the Dick Martin hosted game show "Mindreaders" with celebrity players Joyce Bulifant and Jack Jones (one of the contestants is the ex-wife of Motown Records founder Berry Gordy). This is concluded by the first part of "Password Plus" hosted by Allen Ludden with celeb players Elaine Joyce and Bart Braverman (from the TV show "Vegas"). Edwin Newman does an NBC News update.
