About this video: I was attacked and cops arrived. This was the first and only time I've had this happen to me in over 4000 rides. I should have had my doors locked while waiting in the first place. I was having a rough night and acted impulsively to get out of my car when he approached my door. I initially thought I was going to fight him, but when I saw cars coming towards us, my brain registered that one of us could get severely injured or killed so that became the last thing I wanted to do. Regardless, you never know if someone is carrying a weapon. It's just not worth it to fight unless you absolutely have to for self-defense. Please learn from all of my mistakes. And last but not least, go get yourself a dash cam before it's too late especially if you're an Uber driver.
