Stehr was the first company in Germany to deal intensively with the subject of soil stabilization in connection with agricultural tractors. It is now known around the world. Due to the enormous foresight of the Schwalmtal specialists in this field, the future problems were recognized very early and machines were developed to solve them in a simple, economical way.
Since there will be more and more smaller construction sites in the future and the costs for soil replacement due to enormous transport costs are getting higher and less and less landfill space is available, more and more entrepreneurs are turning to Stehr to solve these problems inexpensively and in an environmentally friendly manner.
Even the supposed market leaders have recognized that agricultural tractors play a role and copied some of the Stehr ideas. But meanwhile one is also superior to these due to the wide range of programs. There are four different soil stabilization tillers from 1.5 to 2.4 meters wide, for tractors from 120 to 600 hp. All milling machines can be combined with binding agent spreaders with a capacity of 1.5 to 14 m³ in such a way that an absolutely dust-free application and mixing of the aggressive binding agent is made possible. They are the only ones on the market that meet the guidelines of the construction trade association (leaflet C 478). The special features of the 9 and 14 m³ spreaders are that they only consist of one structure / container. The body can either be built on a trailer chassis or a truck. The binding agent is conveyed from the container with screw conveyors towards the rear into a room in which there is an absolutely dust-proof rotary valve made of high-quality, wear-resistant plastic. With this, the binding agent is applied in a computer-controlled manner, depending on the speed. In contrast to other constructions, the center of gravity is arranged due to the low construction in such a way that very good stability can be guaranteed even in difficult terrain.
