The idea of Touke belonged to a man named Tyler M. Thompson whom, unfortunately, left this corporeal world behind at a very young age in 2012. Despite that, he was a skilled guitarist whose name and riffs will not be forgotten.
I stumbled upon the guitar track for this song on Tyler's SoundCloud some time before 2012. I downloaded the track and I had hopes of contacting him in an effort to collaborate on a project. Regrettably, I never had a chance to reach out to Tyler and, years later, I had learned about his untimely passing. Thus, I set out to compose a drum track to go along with his guitars and release this single as a tribute to the almighty Touke.
