Campbell v McDonnell over Labour - BBC News

Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell and Tony Blair's former communications chief Alastair Campbell clashed over Labour's direction in a lively exchange on BBC Question Time. Mr McDonnell told him: "You're the person, above all else, who actually created a political environment where no-one believed a word a politician said."
Mr Campbell told Mr McDonnell: "I've come on here to be as nice to you as I possibly can" but added he was worried that the shadow chancellor was "destroying" the party.
