Hello everybody,
I am a Belgian living in Malaysia, more specific in Sabah, Malaysian Borneo. As a foreigner living in another country, you encounter a whole new culture. That is no different for foreigners living in Malaysia or when you travel to Malaysia. The Malaysian culture is very diverse with interesting Malaysian traditions. Some of the traditions you see only in Malaysia. There are some strange habits in Malaysian culture and in Malaysian tradition, and that is what this video is all about.
There are some differences between Malaysia and western countries. Some foreigners and tourists experience a culture shock when they travel to Sabah on the island of Borneo or when they travel to Malaysia in general. As a Belgian in Sabah, I have some experience with the Malaysian culture and the Malaysian traditions. Traditions in Sabah and traditions in Malaysia are very similar but are different in some areas. A lot of these habits can look weird for us foreigners. In this video I show you 10 strange habits in Malaysian culture.
