Why it was an Infield fly - ATL vs STL wild card game

This is why it WAS an infield fly.

I inadvertently got it wrong from what direction the SS was coming from but it really doesn't matter what direction he was coming from as you'll see from my description why it was the correct call.

The key is the term, "ordinary effort" and each level has it's own ordinary effort, if you will. MLB has the best players in the world and if the SS hadn't ducked out thinking the LF called him off, the SS would have made the catch and the ATL manager wouldn't have had anything to complain about.....
