The 'Sorta Faux Fur' was from Intercal, a company that makes shorn wool into 'fur' with a velvet like weaving process. I used this Alpaca for the hat: https://shop.intercaltg.com/alpaca/alp6-s-5-8/alp6-s-100-white/ - I got the smallest option, the 1/6th yard one.
