Newport Back Bay in Newport Beach, California is one of my favorite places to bike in the world! The breathtaking sunset vistas, the smell of the ocean breeze, and the wind in your hair make for a relaxing and exhilarating later afternoon spin! The Back Bay is the inland delta that connects Upper Newport Bay with Newport Harbor. Newport Bay is an estuary and boasts a nature reserve, home to many diverse species of birds and marine life.
