Sequences - The new easy tool for animations [GameMaker Studio 2 | Vfx]

There are lots of changes coming in the upcoming Gamemaker Studio 2 version. These I was able to check out in the seperate beta 2.3 version and I must say I like what they did there.

Doing scripted animations was for the longest time in GameMaker a hassle but the new sequences function is a blessing! This method you can already see in video editing software like Adobe after effects or Premiere. Now you can do that with the new sequences asset aswell.

The other minor thing is that the new update replaces the resources tree with the asset tree, which gives the user a more flexible folder like structure to work with. Not a big change, but certainly a welcome one.
