How to Build a Log Splitter Table

Today I show you how to build a log splitter table to help increase your firewood cutting efficiency and save your back too! One of the things that I don't like about splitting firewood is that you have to constantly bend over to pickup new pieces of wood. Although I"m using a hydraulic log splitter to split the wood for me, the motion of twisting and bending over often leads to my back feeling "tired". To help reduce the amount of back and fourth bending and crouching, I"m building a table that attaches to my existing log splitter to set logs on prior to being split. This table will also act as a spot where I can set already-split logs before being thrown into my IBC cages for transport. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on this little log splitter upgrade and so I used scrap steel that I have collected over the years. With a bit of grinding, cutting and welding, I ended up with a pretty solid log splitting table. Check back next time when I try this thing out and see whether it actually makes firewood splitting easier on my body or whether I just welding up a big scrap table for nothing! Thanks for watching folks, here we go!
