This short film offers a brief, visual introduction to Engelberg in Central Switzerland. The small Alpine town is a popular excursion destination for tourists staying in Lucerne and is home to an imposing Benedictine monastery and the around 30 monks still living and working there. The town, surrounded by impressive mountain scenery, attracts countless visitors both in summer and winter and the Titlis mountain, accessible by aerial cableway, is Central Switzerland's largest and highest-altitude ski region.
