"Take no thought for tomorrow" vs Preparing for hard times — How should Christians live by faith?

Should Christians follow the teaching of Jesus in the gospels that says to "take no thought for the morrow"? Doesn't this contradict the idea that we should prepare for perilous times? Bible teacher Michael Pearl answers this question from a viewer.
