Zagreb, the capital and largest city of Croatia. Zagreb is a city with both beautiful historic buildings and modern highrises, surrounded by green mountains. Central Zagreb is divided into Upper Town (Gornji Grad) and Lower Town (Donji Grad)There is much to see and the prices are low. We visited in September 2021. During 2020 the city suffered two major earthquakes, pandemic lockdowns and a terror attack but the city recovered well!
