In this video what we are going to be showing you, is exactly how easy it is to add an electric fireplace to any home or room. A lot of people hold off on this project, cause they feel intimidated or overwhelmed by the idea and how much work it is. So what we are going to do is start with a blank wall, and show you how to build a fireplace out into the room. This is especially handy when installing a fireplace on an interior wall. Also here are the advantages that make an electric fireplace install so easy. We will show you a time lapse of us building this wall.

1- you don’t have to worry about heat clearances
A lot of times gas fireplaces can cause a problem, cause people want wood installed close to the fireplace or want to use electronics or Mount a TV close to the fireplace.. With gas fireplaces, this can be very expensive and sometimes there is not enough physical space to meet the heat requirements.

2- Cost effective
So one of the biggest issues with gas fireplace is it can get expensive, not only do you have to buy the fireplace, but the install is a lot more expensive, and you generally need a cool wall system that requires more complex install process.

3- Ease of install
You dont need to run a gas line, you dont have to run any venting, etc.

So one of the issues is, people dont like the slim line option because they dont look very good, and they can look cheap. But the problem with the realistic options is they are deep. Usually at least 12” deep. So they require a build out into the room usually. Well one of the ways we are going to show you how we can do that really easily and make it look natural is. to do an open corner unit on both sides, which is what we feature here. The wall will naturally flow more and look like it was part of the design, instead of looking more like an after thought.
