Commies: “Everything Should Be Free!” Ex-Soviet: “The Only Free Cheese Is In The Mousetrap”-Proverb

“The only free cheese is in the mouse trap” proverb was coined in USSR for a good reason: everything belonged to the Government and then the crumbs doled out to the subjects.

“Free” healthcare meant free access, but no care. Need a filling? No problem, but no anesthesia.

“Free” education meant wasting 1/3 of your time on useless political indoctrination followed by 3 years of mandatory work as a “young specialist” at a place of the Government’s choosing, including remove Siberian villages, followed by a life with the engineer’s or medical doctor’s salaries being 2/3 that of a laborer.

“Free” housing meant being a slave to your place of employment which distributed the apartments while on a waiting list for 15-20 years!

Slaves used to live for “free”. Jails are “free” as well.

Here’s a story of a Russian young man from Siberia who came to America for better life and worked very hard alone to establish his small business. He now has to deal with the illegal aliens and the union mafia who are forcing him out of business unless he submits to them.
