How To Choose The Best Rendering Intent When Printing Your Photographs Or Artwork

This video demonstrates how to choose the best rendering intent when printing your photos and artwork using an inkjet printer. It explains the differences between Perceptual and Relative Colorimetric rendering intents and demonstrates these differences on a 'real life' printed photograph. Along the way we discuss some of the important issues regarding color when making prints, such as how software knows what colors your printer is capable of making, what in and out of gamut means, and what the rendering intent really does to colors.
