Business and marketing leader Shirley Young is a proud graduate of Wellesley College, an all-women's liberal arts school in Massachusetts. Over the past year, Young has been working with her alma mater on a new global strategy called the Women World Leaders Program, which launched this year at Peking University. Shirley tells us how and why investing in women offers the greatest returns.

Attending a college for women certainly has its advantages. Shirley Young is just one renowned graduate of Wellesley College, including two former Secretaries of State Madeline Albright and Hillary Clinton. But Wellesley also has a connection to educating some of China's most prominent figures, including Madame Chiang Kai-shek. Now we're going to learn more about Shirley's professional struggles as well as her role models- the people who helped her get to Wellesley, where she majored in "unafraid."

Shirley tells us to hang on to our dream because she never let go of hers. Making a difference between her birthplace and her new home, Shirley's work with General Motors for China Strategic Development and with Wellesley's Women World Leaders are just two of the ways Shirley has used her diplomatic savvy to bring people, resources, and ground-breaking ideas together.
