Soli Woulen - Sorsonet & M'balax

Soli Woulen came up with a giant and spectecular performance at the 20th anniversary-edition of the Abene Festivalo. Inspired and motivated by the personal attention of Djembefola Mamady Keita himself, they gave a brilliant performance on the second day of the festival. With carefully selected musical arrangements of Djembefola Yaya Cire Diabang and modern choreography of Madiba Badio and Mousa Diabang, the home crowd was offered an incredible show. Modern African dance and traditional rhytms followed each other at high speed. A show that put Abene, the idyllic fishermans village on the Atlantic shore, for once and all on the map of West African Percussion music.

Soli Woulen a donnee une spectacle remarquable pendant le 20-ieme anniversaire du Abene Festivalo. Inspiree et motivee par Djembefola Mamady Keita lui-meme, ils ont donne une performance hors-pair le deuxieme jour du festival. Les arrangements musical bien selectionnee par Djembefola Yaya Vire Diabang, en combinaison avec des choreographies de Madiba Badio et Mousa Diabang, ont ete recu avec beaucoups d'enthousiasme par les nombreuses spectateurs. Des dances Africaines contemporaines et des rhytmes traditionnels se sont suivie tres vite. Le performance de Soli Woulen a assuree que Abene, village de pecheurs feeerique au bord de l'Atlantic, a trouvee sa place sur le plan de la musique de percussion Africaine.
