What Are You Afraid Of - Freddy Cole

This tune from Freddy Cole's "The Dreamer In Me" album gives a great example of why I believe that jazz is the greatest musical contribution that we Americans have given to the rest of the world. Just listen to the fun the audience is having. It has always been this way since the days of the great Louis Armstrong. Freddy Cole keeps in that tradition while sounding completely like his own man. But the spirit of spontaneous fun is abundantly clear just as it always was meant to be with this music. If you get a chance, listen to the entire album. It's one of Cole's best.
