This video demonstrates 4 ways your Nikon Z6ii can help you obtain focus when shooting in manual focus mode. ML has made it a lot easier to focus manually! This video is also applicable for the Nikon Z6, Nikon Z7 and Nikon Z7ii.

In the video I demonstrate how the focus point can be used to obtain focus, the same for the electronic zoom in the EVF, focus peaking highlights and the classic focus confirmation dot that we know from DSLRs.

Finally I demonstrate what the focus preview button is all about, and how to make it work again (the Z6 does not come with a depth of field preview button anymore unfortunately). This is only relevant when shooting at f/5.6 or smaller apertures. I elaborate on this in the video.
