ADHD in Adults: All You Want to Know, but Were Afraid to Ask
A number of studies and meta-analyses have led to a better understanding on the extent to which ADHD is heritable. Some of the clinically identified characteristics associated with ADHD can be confused with passing phases many of us will experience with regards to focusing on tasks. The key difference is that for individuals with ADHD, these characteristics (left untreated) are not transient and can eventually disrupt quality of life.
