From Foster Care to Fighting Homelessness: Michael’s Mission of Hope

Michael Larson’s life began in foster care after both parents were sent to prison. By 12, he had lived in seven foster homes—until adoption changed everything.

With love and stability, Michael thrived, graduating from Gonzaga University and becoming determined to give back.

Today, he volunteers in Portland with City Team, provides food and dignity to the homeless, and leads his nonprofit Humans for Housing.
