Hello and welcome back to Horsepower Warehouse!

Today we are going to take a look at a piece of automotive technology that was absolutely designed to be a "band aid" fix at best and deceive the next guy at worst. An "anti fouler" device is designed to keep your spark plug from fouling out in an engine that needs to have the valve seals replaced. While they may accomplish this task to a degree, the byproduct is increased spark plug heat range to the point that much bigger issues may develop. If you see these on a classic car, it is fairly safe to assume a cylinder head job at minimum will be necessary in the near future.
