Advantages - All In one, Efficient, supports 5k, customizable, Has Other Functions for other Than Plex or EMby
Disadvantages – Expensive , Take Some Know How

Nvidia Shield TV -
Advantages - Quiet, inexpensive – you may already have one, low power consumption, quiet, setup pretty straight forward, supports 4k
Disadvantages – Connecting drives via usb can be a bottleneck when it comes to speed.

Mini PC
Pretty inexpensive, but you will need to buy drives, low power consumption, quiet
Processing power and graphics – will not stream 4k reliable.
Old Laptop or Desktop
Advantages – already ahs processing power, Has enough Ram , Inexpensive because you already own it, pretty easy to setup
Disadvantages – Power Consumption

RasPberry PI –
Advantages – Inexpensive, quiet
Disadvantages – A lot of know how – installing OS, Mounting Drives, Set Drives to reconnect on Startup, Will not Tanscode 4k for the most part. Doable, but not worth it in my opinion
