Hello September 🌻 Eating Seasonally🍎Collecting Seeds 🌾 Autumn Bucket List Cozy September Slow Living

September brings rainy cozy days, baking apples, sunflowers, and cozy crafts. Living seasonally in September for me is going to be enjoying apple season, fresh corn and cozy bonfires.

🧀Cheesy Bagel Recipe:
* 1 1/2 cups waarm water
* 1 TBSP sugar or honey
* 2 1/4 tep active dry yeast
* 2 TBSP salt
* 4 cups bread flour
**extra 1/3 cup sugar for boiling (step 6)

1. In a bowl, add warm water, sugar and yeast. Let yeast get bubbly. Should take 5 minutes.

2. Mix and knead in salt, flour and shredded cheese. Knead with micer for 5 minutes.

3. Cover dough and let rise for 90 minutes.

4. Dump dough out on a surface and divide into 8 pieces. Roll into a ball and using your thumbs make a hole in the center.

5. Preheat oven to 350F.

6. In a stockpot, bring 8 cups of water with 1/3’cup sugar to a boil.

7. Boil each bagel for 30 seconds on each side. Remove and place on a greased baking sheet or silicone mat.

8. Optional: brish a beaten egg over the top of the boiled bagels and top worh more shredded cheese.

9. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
