How to operate a Davit launch type Lifeboat and How to Launch it! What is equipment is on board 🔝⚓🌊

Have you ever wondered what you will do in case you are requested to abandon your vessel?What will be the means of survival at sea? Remember that your ship is the safest place to be on board and the lifeboat will only be used if the Ships Captain Calls out ''Abandon Ship''.
Lifeboats are of different types, the one I will be demonstrating you today is a davit launch type which is very common to find in the Shipping Industry.
The launching procedures are demonstrated in order for you to familiarize on how to lower and retrieve the lifeboat.
For the end I have left the Lifesaving equipment which is the same in every lifeboat world wide and you just need to know what means you will have available on board to familiarize yourself.
All seafarers when joining a vessel have to familiarize with the lifeboats operation so that they have the knowledge to operate it.
I advise you to read the SOLAS manual which is available on board in the recreation rooms or in a soft copy on the vessels computers and read the makers manual.
Remember to be ready at all times.
