Schreiners Gardens Planting Iris Fields 2023

This is what it looks like to buy direct from the grower! This year Schreiner's Gardens will plant over 4 million plants over approximately 160 acres. This amazing job takes a crew of about ten people and two tractors driving side by side, to make sure all the irises are spaced and lined up correctly, approximately two months depending on the weather to get all the plants in before the end of fall. Once our plants get all nestled their growing season can begin once more, so come the next year you are able to shop from the largest selection of the highest quality iris (and daylilies, too) that are never warehoused, direct from the grower.
