Shiny Pokémon have a 1 in 8,192 chance of appearing - they're alternate colours but otherwise no different from regular Pokémon.
In the Safari Zone, Pokémon can run away from you.
Put the two together and you get EITHER a very happy OR a very sad grown man attempting to claim pixels of a certain colour as his own. But which will it be...?
