Strolling down the riva with my baby
Sun is out and buras gone away
Families cooking lamb over the fire
Bread is rising, children out at play
Life is full but pace is so much slower
Drinking coffee anytime of day
Friendly people glad to share their stories
Stay awhile always much to say.

Grandma says to always wear your slippers
Wet hair and you’ll wake up with a cold
Bow your head and gather around the table
Wine and rakija daily till you’re old
Food is fresh and nature surrounds you
Swim the sea or climb if you are bold
Can’t escape the wonder of this country
Life here is a joy worth more than gold.
