We all hold reading to be a good activity to engage in. After all, reading can lead to some great moments of learning for you which would help you navigate through the world. But if reading is so great, what would be wrong with reading all the time? What’s missing from this ‘reading-only’ life is actually living. Even if learning and education were the only goal, perhaps there are some things which cannot be learned through reading alone. Perhaps there is great insight to be had from putting down the book and truly living in the world and experiencing the different opportunities it has to offer.
