5 MINUTE PRAYER | Power in Consistency & Authenticity

Praying for 5 minutes every morning, especially if you’re new to being consistent with the Lord, can be such a powerful tool and strategy for your life and against the kingdom of darkness. The enemy hates when you give God your day. He hates when you armor up and ask God to protect you against unseen forces trying everything to hinder your progress and take you out.

Prayer is not just a conversation with God but an act of declaration that says, “Father, no matter what, I need You today. In the highs and the lows, I am only human in this very complicated and unpredictable day.”

I know I can feel a big difference when I go just a day without prayer, especially with our “busy” schedules. But with much intention, even setting an alarm after I wake up can remind me what’s truly important.

There have been times when I’ve prayed for 1-2 hours, and on very rare occasions, all I needed was 5 minutes to start my day off. However, I do recommend praying all throughout the day and spending that quality time with the Lord at night.
