A Reconstruction of the Jamestown Buckler Boss
An attempt to recreate the buckler boss currently in the Nathalie P. and Alan M. Voorhees Archaearium at Jamestown, Virginia. As one of the thousands of artifacts discovered in the course of the Jamestown Rediscovery archaeological project, this piece is significant in its connection both to early American Colonial history and the history of Renaissance European armour. More information on this piece can be found at http://www.historicjamestowne.org/ and at my website: www.crescentmoonarmoury.net.
