Camping in a Bushcraft Log Shelter With a Subscriber - Building a Latrine, Campfire Cooking
An overnight camping trip in Sweden, on this trip I was accompanied by Gary, a subscriber (and now a friend). He came up with the awesome idea to build a toilet at the long-term camp, and that was exactly what he did. I helped out as much as possible but my arm is still broken after my previous trip. This was, however, a perfect opportunity to practice my left-hand skills in the bush, which turned out to be well needed. We will also cook some amazing food, make char cloth and enjoy the outdoors in the best way possible.
I haven't used the toilet yet and before I do I'll place a plastic bucket in it with a plastic bag so it will be easy to take care of the waste and to not contaminate the surroundings to much. It will be dog proof after the improvements we make next week which is great. It is a great add on and Gary did an amazing job.
