PM Modi has shown that when there is a will to work, nothing is impossible. However, the opposition laments helplessness more than action. Now, PM Modi has left the opposition in a state of disarray. Rahul Gandhi and the Congress oppose only because they are in the opposition, but they have no vision. Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, on August 15, 2011, from the ramparts of the Red Fort, declared that corruption is the biggest obstacle to the country's progress, but he possesses no magic wand to tackle it. During the Manmohan Singh government, the Congress party faced numerous major corruption scandals, ranging from the 2G spectrum allocation scandal to the Commonwealth Games scandal, which dominated the headlines. When questioned, he would say that coalition governments have their own compulsions. However, when his government changed at the center, his approach to combating corruption also changed completely. It would be more appropriate to say that his lax approach to corruption was a factor in the change of power at the center. On the other hand, even before taking charge of the country, PM Narendra Modi had declared, "I will neither eat nor let others eat." He has repeatedly reiterated this resolve against corruption. In 2016, he stated that his government is committed to making India corruption-free and that he will not rest until corruption is eradicated. Unlike former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, PM Modi is laying the foundation for a new administrative culture in the country, instead of lamenting perceived political constraints. Meanwhile, more than a dozen political parties, including the Congress, upset with the Modi government's anti-corruption campaign, filed a petition in the Supreme Court alleging that the central government is misusing central agencies like the CBI, ED, and Income Tax Department. The question is, if misuse is occurring, why are the courts not intervening? The Modi government's uncompromising stance against corruption has led the Nehru-Gandhi family to realize that they will not receive any relief in such cases.
पीएम मोदी ने बता दिया है कि जब काम करने की मंशा हो तो कुछ भी असंभव नहीं है..लेकिन विपक्ष के लोग काम से ज्यादा मजबूरी का रोना रोते हैं..लेकिन अब पीएम मोदी ने विपक्ष को कहीं का नहीं छोड़ा है..राहुल गाँधी और कांग्रेस के लोग सिर्फ इसलिए विरोध करते हैं क्यों कि वो विपक्ष में हैं..लेकिन उनके पास कोई विजन ही नहीं है..दर्शकों पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री डा. मनमोहन सिंह ने 15 अगस्त, 2011 को लाल किले की प्राचीर से कहा था कि देश की तरक्की में भ्रष्टाचार सबसे बड़ी बाधा है, लेकिन इससे निपटने के लिए उनके पास कोई जादुई छड़ी नहीं है। कांग्रेस की मनमोहन सरकार में भ्रष्टाचार के एक से बढ़कर एक बड़े मामले सामने आए थे। इनमें 2जी स्पेक्ट्रम आवंटन से लेकर राष्ट्रमंडल खेलों के आयोजन में घोटाले के मामले सुर्खियों में छाए रहे। इस पर जब उनसे सवाल किया जाता तो वह कहते कि गठबंधन सरकारों की अपनी कुछ मजबूरियां होती हैं। वहीं केंद्र में जब उनकी सरकार बदली तो भ्रष्टाचार से निपटने का रवैया भी पूरी तरह बदल गया, बल्कि यह कहना अधिक उपयुक्त होगा कि भ्रष्टाचार पर उनका लचर रवैया भी केंद्र में सत्ता परिवर्तन का एक कारण बना। वहीं दूसरी तरफ पीएम नरेन्द्र मोदी ने देश की कमान संभालने के पहले ही कह दिया था कि ‘न खाऊंगा और न खाने दूंगा।’पीएम मोदी ने भ्रष्टाचार के विरुद्ध अपने इस संकल्प को बार-बार दोहराया भी। उन्होंने 2016 में कहा कि हमारी सरकार भ्रष्टाचार मुक्त भारत बनाने की कोशिश में जुटी हुई है और मैं भ्रष्टाचार को जड़ से मिटा कर ही दम लूंगा। पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री मनमोहन सिंह की तरह कथित राजनीतिक विवशता का रोना न रोते हुए पीएम मोदी देश में नई प्रशासनिक संस्कृति की नींव डाल रहे हैं। वहीं मोदी सरकार के भ्रष्टाचार विरोधी अभियान से परेशान कांग्रेस समेत एक दर्जन से अधिक राजनीतिक दलों ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में याचिका दायर की थी कि केंद्र सरकार सीबीआइ, ईडी और आयकर विभाग जैसी केंद्रीय एजेंसियों का दुरुपयोग कर रही है। सवाल है कि यदि दुरुपयोग हो रहा है तो अदालतें हस्तक्षेप क्यों नहीं कर रही हैं? भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ मोदी सरकार के कोई समझौता न करने वाले रवैये के कारण ही नेहरू-गांधी परिवार को यह अहसास हुआ है कि उन्हें ऐसे मामलों में कोई राहत नहीं मिलने वाली।
