On June 23, 2020, Tejgaon Police arrested JKG Healthcare Chairperson Dr. Sabrina and CEO Ariful, including six others, on charges of issuing fake COVID-19 certificates, forgery, and fraud. The controversial doctor, who was convicted in the lower court, appealed to the High Court and was granted bail. Sabrina was released on bail on June 5, 2023, after spending almost three years in prison.
