0:00 Intro
PixieBrix is one of the most fantastic low-code tools you'll see this year. It's a browser extension that lets you customize and automate the UX of any web page.

0:27 How to Install PixieBrix
Use a Google Account to create a PixieBrix account. Install the PixieBrix Chrome extension in the Chrome Web Store

1:28 Open the Page Editor
Press F12 or Ctrl+Shift+I to open the developer tools in Google Chrome. Make sure to dock the web tools to the bottom of your browser to have a better view. Then, give PixieBrix access to your webpage.

2:50 Add a Button to a Web page
We add a button to our LinkedIn page, which we want to scrape the data of our current company page and then do a Crunchbase lookup for that company. Use the Component Reader Brick to get the data from the company name. Remember to choose the framework (Ember.js). We'll save the company's attribute in a variable to use for the CrunchBase search. Finally, we use an Open a tab brick together with the static Crunchbase URL and then our (dynamic) variable to open a new browser tab and search.
