Single Leg Deadlifts

Brandon - "Many common "unilateral" drills are actually not unilateral. By definition unilateral refers to effecting only one side of the body. Exercises such as split squats require significant eccentric loading in both legs and even though the front leg works slightly harder it is not an actual unilateral exercise.

Single Leg Deadlifts are true unilateral exercises and can be a great addition to a program if you want to improve your knee strength and foot stability. Depending on how you perform them you can bias hamstring activation, obliques, or knee strength."
