Ternyata Swiss itu berbatasan dengan negara Italia. Awalnya cari hotel yang dekat dengan lake Lugano, dan tujuannya di sekitar Ponte Tresa. Ternyata Ponte Tresa itu berada di antara 2 negara, Swiss dan Italia.
Dan hotel yang kami pilih ternyata berada di Ponte Tresa bagian Italia.

Jaraknya dekat dengan station hanya sekitar 2km, dan dibatasi dengan border.
Jadi semua kendaraan dari arah Swiss untuk ke Italia harus melewati border itu, begitu pula sebaliknya.

Hotel tempat kami menginap namanya Groto Bagat Hotel. Letaknya persis di depan danau Lugano. Pemandangannya bagus, kamarnya luas, makanannya pun enak. Dan yang terutama harga hotel di Italia ini jauh lebih murah daripada di Swiss.

Switzerland actually shares a border with Italy. Initially, we were looking for a hotel near Lake Lugano with the intention of being around Ponte Tresa. As it turns out, Ponte Tresa is situated between two countries, Switzerland and Italy. The hotel we chose happened to be in the Italian part of Ponte Tresa.

It's conveniently close to the station, approximately 2km away, and is bordered by the border. So, all vehicles from Switzerland heading to Italy, and vice versa, have to pass through that border.

The hotel we stayed at is called Groto Bagat Hotel. It's right in front of Lake Lugano, offering a beautiful view, spacious rooms, and delicious food. Importantly, the hotel prices in Italy are much cheaper than in Switzerland.
