Flotilla Activists Arrive In Amsterdam, Claim "Humiliation" During Israeli Detention | VERTEX

Freed activists from the intercepted Global Sumud Flotilla claimed to have faced 'horrible and violent' conditions during Israeli detention upon their arrival at the Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam on Friday.

Footage shows emotional scenes as activists embraced loved ones and addressed crowds gathered at the airport, as supporters held banners reading ‘Global Movement to Gaza to NL’ while chanting pro-Palestinian slogans.

"It was horrible, they were really violent, and also as soon as they came onto our boat, they started shooting, and they separated us as well," activist Cerisa van Kesteren said. "The men on our boat had to kneel."
