All-Female Alternative \ Groove Metal band from Ontario, Canada formed in 1996. Kittie rose to fame in 1999 following the release of the single Brackish from their gold-rated debut album Spit.

Kittie performed with the original lineup for a single concert on October, 2017 in London, Ontario and it was released on DVD format on March, 2019 named Live At The London Music Hall. The documentary Origins/Evolutions was released in March, 2018 on Blu-ray and DVD along with a CD featuring live performances by the band.

In 2019, vocalist Morgan Lander expressed uncertainty about the future of the band, as she didn't feel right moving the band forward without Trish Doan [died in February 11, 2017]. Months later after that statement, Morgan Lander joined Karkaos [Melodic Death Metal] as their new lead singer.
