A Reed Rebellious | Fumito Satoh & Hayato Satoh | TEDxYouth@Tokyo
Hayato is studying French literature at Tohoku University and Fumito is studying Arabic and
history at Waseda University. They regard the present day as the age of “absurdity” in which established ideas or institutions are collapsing and people are losing the meaning of their life. They strongly believe that we humans must resist the “absurdity” by affording some meanings to our life although we are just a thinking reed. In their speech, they will show you the way of “resistance” through their or their friends’ experiences on the basis of literature and philosophy.
